At the administration office, the Upper Macungie Township Planning Commission approved the preliminary/final minor land development plan for a proposed bank.
The design proposes for the construction of a 3,370-square-foot Chase Bank facility within Trexlertown Plaza, located at 7150 Hamilton Blvd., and the destruction of a former Yocco's restaurant structure.
Within the proposed leasing area, the application calls for minor adjustments to the current utilities, landscaping, parking, and lighting.
Chase has locations in Bethlehem, Easton, and Allentown in the Lehigh Valley. Last December, Yocco's restaurant in Trexlertown closed.
