Glazed Donut & Coffee Shop, located at 149 Northampton St. in downtown Easton, is now open! They specialize in handmade, made-to-order doughnuts. Doughnuts can be personalized with a variety of glazes, drizzles, and toppings; alternatively, customers can choose from unique flavors like strawberry shortcake or s'mores. Our one-of-a-kind doughnuts are just the beginning; feel free to make whatever changes you desire. Throughout the day, the assortment will be renewed continually. Hence, no one should ever have to wait more than an hour for a doughnut.
Fresh and flavorful doughnuts will be prepared right before your eyes. The customer can personalize their doughnuts by choosing a glaze (chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, or lemon) and then topping them with powdered sugar, granulated sugar, or cinnamon sugar. The next step is for them to select their desired drizzle: marshmallow, strawberry, white chocolate, caramel, Nutella, peanut butter, maple syrup, or any of a variety of chocolate flavors.
One last thing: toppings. Customers have their pick of graham cracker crumbs, peanuts, Oreos, coconut, sliced almonds, chocolate chips, and Reese's drops. Some of the approximately ten signature varieties that will also be offered include the Salty Pig, which has bacon topping, maple drizzle, and vanilla glaze; PBJ, which has raspberry and peanut butter drizzle, peanut topping, and vanilla glaze; Cinnamon Toast, which has cinnamon sugar topping, maple drizzle, and vanilla glaze; and S'mores, which has chocolate glaze, toasted marshmallow center, and graham cracker topping.
Prices range from $2.85 for one doughnut to $14.25 for six, and $28.60 for twelve custom or signature doughnuts. Additionally, there will be rotating doughnuts every month and seasonal varieties like pumpkin in the fall. A strawberry glaze, topped with whipped cream, strawberry drizzle, and fresh strawberries, will make the Strawberry Shortcake doughnut taste just exquisite.
In addition to its specialty drinks (such as cappuccinos, lattes, macchiatos, and teas), Glazed Donut & Coffee will provide gourmet breakfast sandwiches. Twenty individuals can be seated at modest tables and one more at a counter by the window.
The beans will be sourced from Homestead Coffee Roasters in Upper Black Eddy, Bucks County.
Also, you can trust Glazed to make the perfect breakfast sandwiches. In the mornings, we will bake the brioche buns and start with three combinations: sausage, egg, and cheese; bacon, egg, and cheese; and pork roll, egg, and cheese. Buttermilk and sourdough will be the secret ingredients in the brioche bun.
The property in downtown Easton has been undergoing renovations for the last several months, thanks to the owners and a crew of workers. New appliances, countertops, flooring, lighting, drywall, and sky and cloud wallpaper are all part of the renovation. The proprietors had hoped to debut Glazed in late spring or on July 10, but construction delays pushed back the debut date.
Glazed will include a private party space that can hold up to fifty people and is expected to be available daily from seven in the morning until three in the afternoon. One can place orders online and participate in a rewards program.
