Lehigh County has become a destination for high-energy, action-packed adventures.

Lehigh Valley Grand Prix Go Kart

A press release stated that the Lehigh Valley Grand Prix, a renowned indoor go-kart racing facility located at 649 S. 10th St. in Allentown, presented a completely new go-kart track layout on Friday, promising guests "an unrivaled and innovative racing experience."

Since the facility reopened in 2021 after the pandemic hiatus, this is the first track overhaul.  The recently constructed quarter-mile track is an 11-turn, difficult road circuit that is raced on a smooth concrete surface using gas-powered carts that can reach speeds of 50 mph.

The barrier system gives the experience a real racing edge and was built utilizing over 1,300 Goodyear tires from a single NASCAR race at Chicagoland. "Without a doubt, this is the fastest track in the Mid-Atlantic Region," stated Lehigh Valley Grand Prix owner Mike McCreary.

"The experience of racing a kart is unmatched by anything else." This is your chance to feel the thrill of excitement if you have not visited our track before. If this is your first time here, you are in for a completely different racing experience."

It is anticipated that the track's elegant layout and superior racing atmosphere will draw both novice racers and seasoned competitors eager to put their abilities to the test on the unusual course.

Birthday celebrations, family get-togethers, corporate and group events, individual and team racing, and more are all held at the Lehigh Valley Grand Prix. The facility provides the necessary racing gear.
